Brooke started out with a podcast (The Life Coach School Podcast) and a lot of launch products - no membership.
One of the things she wanted to do was simplify her business with two main products.
She wanted:
- A membership for clients that wanted to get coached (on anxiety, for drinking, weight loss).
- Her certifications for those who wanted to become a life coach.
Creating a way to get coached in an affordable way meant memberships were the way to go!
Creating value creates forever customers. (11:30)
Brooke truly understands not to de-value yourself. She stacked up TONS of money into developing herself and her skillset.
That means members paying $297/month is NOT too high of a price!
When you create that much value, members could never spend enough to get the value out of it.
Not having the members communicate with each other. (18:30)
In Brooke’s membership, she wanted her members to feel like they have exclusive access to her. That is why she didn’t let the members talk to each other! In doing so, the relationship felt more like they were just having it with her on a more personal level.
The biggest lessons to learn with massive success. (40:00)
The bad news? Brooke says it’s not better at the top than it is at square one. She lives by the philosophy, “life is 50/50.”
Brooke says we did not come on this planet to be on vacation. There has to be contrast or there is no balance. Will life get better in some ways at the next level? Absolutely. Will it get worse in other ways? You bet.
Trying to push yourself to get there is not the way to d live. You want to build something that you want more of! If life is 50/50 - you might as well make some cash!
